The Flat
Synopsis

The Israeli-born grandchildren of German-born grandparents clean out their recently-deceased grandmotherís apartment in Tel Aviv and discover a bewildering surprise. Their grandparents had maintained a close and continuing relationship with a well-known Nazi journalist not only before, but also after, the Second World War. This interesting and very personal film features secrets learned by grandchildren about their grandparents—and provides a unique understanding about the German pride the older generation kept to themselves.
