Torn

Underwritten by Pearl and Leonard Rosenthal

Torn
Synopsis

In search of his newly-discovered roots, a Polish priest, who was born Jewish but given as an infant to a Polish family during the Nazi occupation, relocates to an Israeli kibbutz in the hope of living his remaining years as an ethnic Jew while, at the same time, preserving his intense Catholic faith. There he learns that the dichotomy of living as both a Jew and a dedicated Catholic priest presents seemingly insurmountable challenges. A unique look at a personal dilemma.
