Synopsis

The plight of a Filipino migrant family living in fear of deportation from Israel is poignantly captured in Transit, The Philippines' official entry for Best Foreign Language Oscar. Set in and around Tel Aviv amidst an immigration crackdown, the story explores the lives of desperate expatriate workers and their Israeli-born children. Moises is a single dad who works as a caregiver for a kind-hearted Israeli retiree while frantically trying to keep his young son Joshua hidden indoors and away from the police.
